Grant County Sheriff's Office
The Patrol Division is the first line in defense for the citizens of Grant County. The duty of a patrol deputy is to serve the community; to safeguard lives and property; to protect the innocent against deception, the weak against oppression; the peaceful against violence; and to respect the constitutional rights of all to liberty, equality, and justice.
How do they do this? They perform routine uniformed patrol in marked units in the approximate 1,000 square miles of unincorporated Grant County, including the towns of Manchester, Wakita, Nash, Renfrow, Deer Creek, Lamont, and Jefferson; answer both emergent and non-emergent calls for service, investigate crime scenes, and enforce traffic violations. The patrol division deputies strive daily to fulfill the duties bestowed upon them and serve the citizens with pride and respect.
